Went and did the whole voting thing (get your chuckles in, everyone who’s ponified “voting” to “droppin a deuce” or whatever).
For anyone else in Alabama that can or wants to vote, please choose YES on Amendment 4. The state constitution is a million-page tome of ancient, segregation-era bullshit as it is, please don’t make my home state look even worse by keeping language on there that says that schools can still be segregated by race.
Other than that, do whatever the heck you want. I voted for a second Obama term because I feel he’d be better for the United States on the issues that matter to me the most. You should do the same no matter who you’re voting for.
And no matter what, politics are nothing to sever friendships over, so even if you don’t agree with who won or lost at the end of the day, don’t be a dick just because they voted for the “wrong guy(s)”.
