Ordinarily, I would post the screencap of the request too, but I answered it, and that made it go away. I’m a derp and for that, I apologize.
It was asked of me, by my absolute favorite tumblr-Worth (who tolerates my shit so well and I love her for it), that I draw some ConWorth h/c. I actually think I delivered (on some level) this time.
Ok, the red one was…ok, I got the idea from a young!ConWorth fic called “Show Me Your Teeth.” At school, while ditching detention, Connie loses his umbrella and Worth has to give him his jacket to huddle under and a piggy back ride to keep from getting Connie in direct sunlight.
I was all, “Imma bust out my Verithins cuz I’m a fancy fuckin’ lady.” The sketch isn’t great anyway, but it has some nice rudimentary shading that I like. But my camera does not see the red pigment. I went over the outlines with a red ink pen, and that seemed to help a bit. I put that over the fuzzy photo, so you get the mess/final results here.
The black sketch (I learned my lesson) is just some fluff. Fluff: now with more suggestive finger walking. I kept it nice and sloppy.
…I get the feeling, Anon, that you were aiming for something kinda cute/fluffy with that prompt, but I made this instead.

I also went back on my promise to myself to sketch only in pen, but I needed more guidance with the handses. Mang, there is a level of grime that I cannot, cannot, show visually; I don’t know how to make him look gross and dirty.

A bit of blabbery from me (as with all my doodles): I had never heard this song before; not really my thing sonically, but I do love the lyrics. The slash is not explicit, but I think it’s noticeable. So, we have Conrad and Worth a bit roughed up; both debating whether or not he should call the other and ask for another round (neither wants to; they hate each other, after all).
I know Worth doesn’t really have a phone (I don’t think he does, anyway) but I imagine if he did, it would be a rotary phone at best. Also: Worth is fucking difficult to draw.
Characters, of course, belong to Tessa Stone.
Some light ConWorth; it was too sugary-sweet not to share. Conbat might be the cutest little comic critter I’ve ever seen.
I guess I’m lucky to have found the comic after the site went back up…this whole thing has been so interesting and frustrating.
I’ll love Hanna is Not a Boy’s Name forever; no question. I hope it comes back. I’ve read in several places that Tessa Stone is fine, which is the most important thing. Comicking can come later.
