aaahg the person in that picture is korean(-american?) too

thats so messed up how do you be asian and not understand yellowface and redface are fucked up inherently racist things. how do you just defend both as being ~how it’s done because lighting~ :|

how do you just defend a stage show making your moms makeup look ~more stereotypically asian and less korean~ like that doesnt reek of racism

No, that person is not Korean-American, I am not the original poster. I was just speaking from my own personal experience.

Whisky is the life of man…

I’m just on this side of coherenet (lolololol). I got back from my shift at ren faire just in time to watch my fmily eat dinner, then we visited our friends for a few minutes, and then I suggested going to this whiskey lounge in town. It;s super new.

It’s okay i guess because I love whisky/whiskey/bourbon and there’s live jazz until about 11 (after that it’s a shitty club sort of atmosphere, like most places out here). Well, I went with my sister, her husband, and our friend and I guess it was all right.

But, i am disappointed I went to a whiskey bar and the bartender didn’t know what a black tooth grin was. Admittedly, this place was very clearly uh…a jazz place, not a rock/metal place, but still, I figure if you’re going yto market yourself as a whiskey lounge, you should be well-versed in these sorts of drinks. And when I asked for a perfect pour, it seemed the only Johnnie Walker labels they had were black and red. And…you know, those are my favorites, but I always believed that a perfect pour implied blue label.

I must consult my uncle on this matter when I see him tomorrow for some dark ‘n stormies (aka perfect storms).

Oh, and fencing, I guess that’s what we do out at ren faire.
